Two weeks ago in this column, we took a look at Scribblenauts Unmasked, a fun but flawed fusion between DC Comics and the puzzle-filled cartoon world of Scribblenauts.

Now we've got LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, the coming together of two massive universes: LEGO and Marvel.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's multiplatform title is a highly enjoyable adventure filled with familiar faces, varied missions and a deep cooperative ("co-op") experience.

In the game's original story, the villainous Loki and Doctor Doom attack the Silver Surfer, which causes his flying board to shatter and rain down on the Earth.

S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury assembles the planet's greatest heroes to recover the powerful Cosmic Bricks that comprise the board before the bad guys find them first and build a super weapon. There's more to the tale, but it would spoil the surprises for you.
